I apologize for my absence.  A rundown on what’s happening:

1. I will be updating the website this month with new photos!  Most of them have been posted here already, but there may be a few extras, so keep a lookout.

2. Sunday I have the privilege of taking photos of a beautiful family.  Mom is a good friend of mine from my day job, and I’m so excited to finally meet her kids!  Photos will be posted as soon as my computer allows, which brings me to…

3. I finally bought a new camera!  He’s a Canon 60D, and I have named him Buster.  Unfortunately, Buster, and my computer, Niska, do not get along.  Apparently the older versions of Mac’s OS and Photoshop do not recognize my camera’s RAW files, and therefore transferring has become something of an issue.  I’m working on downloading software to convert the RAW files to .dng files, but it may take a few days.

One of my favorite bloggers was hit by a car recently.  Her major issue seems to be a knee injury, but she’s a runner so that’s kind of a big deal.  I don’t know her personally, but she’s still an inspiration to me.  Please send good thoughts her way.
